§ 1. General Provisions

  1. These Terms of Service govern the use of the website and services offered by BrokerInsight Analytics Inc. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Regulations.
  2. The information provided on the Platform is for educational and informational purposes only and does not constitute financial or investment advice. You should consult with a qualified professional before making any investment decisions.
  3. BrokerInsight Analytics Inc. reserves the right to modify these Regulations at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Regulations.
  4. The service is intended for users who are of legal age to enter into binding contracts in their jurisdiction. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

§ 2. Definitions

  • Platform – The online service operated by BrokerInsight Analytics Inc., available at the domain brokerinsight.ca.
  • User – Any natural person or legal entity that uses the Platform, whether as a registered user or a visitor.
  • Account – A personalized profile created by a User upon registration, allowing access to specific features of the Platform.
  • Services – All services provided electronically by BrokerInsight Analytics Inc., including access to articles, reviews, comparison tools, and newsletters.
  • Regulations – This document, the Terms of Service, which defines the rules for using the Platform.

§ 3. Type and Scope of Services Provided

  1. The Platform provides access to independent reviews, comparisons, articles, and guides related to online brokerage services available to Canadian residents. This content is provided free of charge for general access, with some premium content reserved for registered Users with an active subscription.
  2. Users may register for a free Account to access additional features such as saving comparisons and receiving newsletters. Premium services, which may include in-depth reports and advanced tools, require a paid subscription.
  3. BrokerInsight Analytics Inc. makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information presented but does not guarantee it. The financial market is dynamic, and information may become outdated.
  4. The Platform is not a broker, dealer, or investment advisor. We do not facilitate the opening of brokerage accounts or the execution of trades. We provide information to help Users make their own decisions.

§ 4. Technical Requirements

  1. To use the Platform, a User must have a device with internet access and a modern web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
  2. The Platform is optimized for use on both desktop and mobile devices. However, we do not guarantee flawless operation on all device configurations.
  3. The User is responsible for ensuring their equipment and software meet these technical requirements and for the security of their own internet connection.

§ 5. Rights and Obligations of the User

  1. The User agrees to use the Platform in accordance with applicable laws and these Regulations. The User shall not provide any unlawful content or use the Platform for illegal purposes.
  2. The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Account password and for all activities that occur under their Account. Any suspected unauthorized use must be reported immediately.
  3. All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of BrokerInsight Analytics Inc. and is protected by copyright law. The User may not copy, reproduce, or distribute this content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.
  4. The User acknowledges that all investment decisions are made at their own risk. BrokerInsight Analytics Inc. shall not be liable for any losses or damages resulting from the use of information on the Platform.
  5. Users are prohibited from using any automated systems, such as bots or scrapers, to access or collect data from the Platform without our express written consent.

§ 6. Final Provisions

  1. These Regulations shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
  2. Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia.
  3. If any provision of these Regulations is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
